Before Justin and I ever started dating, we both knew that we were called to ministry. We both have been called to do missions work and to work with children of various ages around the world. We are very excited about the journey that is ahead of us. We aren't really sure what this whole thing is going to look like, but we feel ready to lay down our lives and pick up our crosses. We want to follow Jesus wherever He leads us.
At this point, Justin is about halfway finished with ministry school in preparation for all of the work we will do in the future. I'm currently working in a preschool getting lots of experience with young children. Justin just had his first experience traveling out of the country with a missions team to El Salvador. He says that is was a truly life changing experience and cannot wait to go back. There are several tentative trips in our future, and we would love to have your support both prayerfully and financially if possible.

I'm so joyful about just the little I have heard about Justin's new experiences with missions. I know the calling for both of you is GREAT. The Justin in this picture is certainly not the one I knew in high school or even a year ago.
ReplyDeleteI believe it is safe to say that we have all made it through several rather substantial obstacles to get where we are as two different couples and as one set of friends as brothers and sisters in Christ.
I have learned more about myself through my relationship with yall than I have through almost any other relationship in my life. Standing beside yall in life as we all push towards our destiny is truely an honor, and I count our relationship as true value!
